Job Description

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Children's Client Services Manager in Houghton, Michigan . This role works closely with children, families, supervisors, clinical staff, and community partners—perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
WHAT WE OFFER.
$48,695 - ,191 annual starting salary based on qualifications. PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus. Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage. Disability and life insurance. Retirement and deferred compensation plans. Paid time off. Full-time Monday - Friday position generally working 8am - 5pm.
WHAT YOUR DAYS LOOK LIKE.
Support Children and Their Families. Provide case management services that help children and their support systems navigate challenges and access the care they need. Complete Assessments. Meet with children and families to understand their needs, strengths, and goals. Create and Guide Service Plans. Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and make sure everyone involved has the support they need. Monitor Progress. Stay connected with families to assess how things are going, make adjustments when needed, and celebrate progress along the way. Respond When Urgent Needs Arise. Conduct emergency screenings and help families through difficult situations with compassion, calm, and professionalism. Maintain Accurate Records. Keep documentation organized, complete, and confidential to ensure high-quality care.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a Human Services field and experience working with children is required; Master's degree a bonus. Eligibility for Michigan licensure and at least one year of experience in the mental health field is preferred . Someone dynamic, people-oriented, and comfortable working with many different personalities and situations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills—warmth, patience, and professionalism go a long way in this role. Valid driver's license required. Able to pass a criminal background check.
