Job Description

Required Qualifications Hours and days: 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, during school sessions. Candidates need to apply if these hours work with their schedule. Start and end times are non-negotiable. Must be able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work as part of a team throughout the district. Must be able to twist, bend, lift, and stand for extended periods on hard floors. Must communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, and parents. Fundamental math and reading skills. Operate a computer and handle money (receive payments, give correct change, and balance the cash drawer). Must be willing to comply with federal, state, and department guidelines: current safety and sanitation certification, civil rights training, and safe schools training. All training must be completed within the first 30 days of employment. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Personal and Professional Competencies Previous food service experience is helpful. ServSafe Certification. ServSafe Allergens. Be able to organize spreadsheets and data entry. Major Job Responsibilities Daily duties include but are not limited to meal service, dishwashing, cleaning, production record keeping, food preparation, cashier, and customer service. The ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and professions. Demonstrate collaborative leadership skills. Ability to remain professional.
