Growing Automotive Dealer Group | St. Louis & St Charles CountyWe are seeking an experienced and results-oriented BDC (Business Development Center) Manager to oversee customer engagement, internet lead management, and appointment-setting operations across our dealership group. This position is ideal for a proven leader who can optimize processes, coach and develop a high-performing team, and deliver measurable improvements in sales and service performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and manage the BDC team to achieve appointment, conversion, and performance goals. Develop strategies to improve lead response times, appointment-setting rates, and customer engagement. Monitor call quality, follow-up activity, and CRM usage to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability. Partner with sales and service leadership to align communication efforts and maximize customer opportunities. Recruit, coach, and mentor BDC staff while fostering a positive, results-driven culture. Handle escalated customer interactions professionally and effectively. Provide performance reporting, KPI analysis, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Implement process improvements that enhance both the customer experience and operational efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years of BDC management experience, preferably in automotive retail. Proven track record of improving team performance, appointment conversion rates, and lead management results. Strong communication, coaching, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and dealership software platforms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Professional, customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
