Job Description:
We are now hiring for a full-time Scheduling Manager position in Gulfport, MS. We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and growth minded office professional to join our work family. Our Scheduler is the voice of our company, providing the highest levels of customer service during outbound and inbound calls. This position handles all aspects of patient scheduling, and is a high paced, demanding position, that requires an inherent sense of urgency and attention to detail. Medical call center, or scheduling experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Greeting clients and guests Collect and verify patient insurance, and other relevant information Answering and routing calls Assist with processing incoming referrals Managing employee and client files Scheduling shifts for skilled field staff Composing and mailing various types of correspondence Participating in on-call and taking after hours patient referrals (rotating basis) Respond to incoming phone requests from patients, related medical offices, and hospitals Other office duties as assigned Required skills: Professional office experience required, healthcare experience is preferred Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills Strong computer skills in programs such as Word, Excel, etc. The ability to learn how to navigate our specialized scheduling database Positive attitude Punctual, reliable behavior Strong customer service skills Keen attention to details Strong problem-solving skills Ability to empathize with patients in need of care Strong ability to multi-task Bachelor's Degree preferred
