Job Description
Description Full-Time | Nashua, NH Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking an Access Associate to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors . This role supports front desk operations by greeting clients, managing appointments, handling incoming calls, and ensuring a smooth and respectful client experience. The Access Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate client information and supporting overall clinic flow. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect copayments and balances.
- Answer and route incoming calls, providing accurate information and connecting callers with appropriate staff.
- Schedule appointments and assist clients with follow-up scheduling needs.
- Maintain clinician schedules and conference room calendars as needed.
- Monitor and manage client flow in the waiting area to ensure timely service.
- Provide courteous, professional, and timely customer service to clients, families, and staff.
- Open and close the building, ensuring operational readiness and security.
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Perform general clerical duties and support administrative functions as needed.
- Complete additional duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude.
