The Commercial Support Coordinator is responsible for processing and responding to daily e-mail correspondence from internal and external clients, professionally and courteously fielding telephone calls from clients and customer service agents, and understanding the commercial lines insurance industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Processes client updates, payments and client calls. Maintains an average of 120 pieces of mail processed daily. Reviews and processes all e-mail and debtor mail inquiries, notates debtor account of content, evaluates whether client contact is necessary for resolution, and follows procedures outlined in the commercial support manual. Participates in various problem-solving and decision-making activities. Files, faxes and mails/ e-mails preparation. Takes on additional responsibilities, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of six (6) months of collection experience. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates consistency, accuracy, sound judgment, follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to promote a professional, team-oriented, and positive attitude at all times. Maintains knowledge and compliance with all FDCPA and state laws. Ability to read and interpret information in written form and from a computer monitor. Ability to learn specific software used to perform job including: Microsoft Office, Application Xtender (Document Manager), etc. Basic math and written communication skills. Moderate typing skills (at least 35 WPM).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
