Customer Service & Operations ? Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and the Service Manager ? Drive customer service excellence and activities to ensure a high level of professionalism and responsiveness ? Manage equipment intake, including documentation and initial evaluation of service needs ? Coordinate workflow scheduling to support efficient shop operations ? Provide timely updates on repair status and notify customers when equipment is ready for pickup ? Collaborate with Parts and Technical Support teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery Service Sales & Customer Solutions ? Identify and recommend maintenance, repair, service enhancements, and upgrade opportunities based on equipment condition, service history, and OEM guidelines. ? Prepare, present, and explain service estimates, clearly outlining scope, value, and timelines ? Proactively promote preventative maintenance and service programs to drive long-term customer value ? Educate customers on cost-saving options, repair vs. replace decisions, and lifecycle planning ? Support achievement of service revenue targets through effective communication and solution-based selling ? Build strong, trust-based relationships that encourage repeat business and customer retention Technical Support & Quality Assurance ? Translate technician findings into clear, customer-friendly explanations ? Assist in identifying repair solutions and associated costs ? Confirm necessary repairs and conduct final inspections as needed to ensure quality standards ? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service offerings, equipment, and industry best practices Requirements ? Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment or machinery ? Experience working in or supporting a service department environment ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust ? Proven ability to recommend solutions and confidently present service options ? Proficiency with computers and business systems (Word, Excel; Salesforce and/or SAP preferred) ? Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (towing experience a plus) ? Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy ? Ability to work at heights when required ? Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience Requirements ? 3-5 years of experience in service coordination, service advising, or a related role within heavy equipment, construction equipment, or similar industrial environments ? Experience communicating with technicians and customers to coordinate repairs and service solutions ? Familiarity with service department workflow, work orders, and repair estimatesSimilar remote jobs
