Job Description
Love horses but prefer less hay in your hair? Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center is looking for a new individual to join our front office team as an Ambulatory Client Assistant. You'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role supporting our field service department. This position is perfect for a friendly, enthusiastic professional who enjoys keeping things organized, helping teams run smoothly, and being the welcoming voice of our field service team.
In this position you will:
Answer incoming phone calls and communicate with clients via text, email and phone. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining client and patient confidentiality. Support doctors by maintaining schedules and rescheduling appointments as necessary. Accurately maintain client information and patient medical records in practice management software (easyVet/VetZ). Process invoices, deposits and other related payments. You will excel here if you are: Passionate about providing a positive client experience. Friendly, dependable and calm under pressure. A multi-tasker and can prioritize effectively. Detail focused and ready for a fast-paced environment.What you bring:
Experience working in a customer-facing position A background in basic equine knowledge and veterinary terminology (strongly preferred). Team oriented attitude. Strong computer skills.What your schedule looks like:
Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm with rotational Saturdays (8am to Noon) required. This is a full-time, year-round, permanent position. About thePractice:

A doctor is always present at the hospital to oversee the care of patients.
