We are seeking an experienced Insurance Relations Specialist to support our organization's compliance with the No Surprises Act (NSA), the federal law designed to protect patients from unexpected out‑of‑network medical bills and establish structured insurer/provider payment dispute resolution processes. The ideal candidate will oversee the tracking, escalation, and recovery of NSA awards, settlements, and reimbursements to ensure accuracy and efficiency. What You'll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and clients to resolve outstanding awards, underpayments, and discrepancies. Coordinate with insurance carriers to optimize timeliness and accuracy of client payments. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners on NSA requirements and best practices. Monitor regulatory updates and assess impacts on contracts, claims, and payer/provider communications. Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards. Develop reports, track key metrics, and provide recommendations to the team and leadership. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance operations, billing compliance, provider relations, or comparable areas. Proficiency in understanding and interpreting medical EOBs. Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Hiring Range:
$60,000-$65,000 / year, commensurate with experience
