We provide fitness and active movement classes as well as creative expression classes to build healthy hobbies to increase mental health as a result. Through our adventure programming, we provide Rock Climbing, Ski & Snowboarding, Camps & Bday parties. Our Aquatics program offers a variety of swimming and water-based programming. The Manager must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. The Manager must have the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order to build a strong ambassadorship and retain members. The Recreation Coordinator is rooted in hospitality and upholds our mission of fuelling high-quality and meaningful experiences.
The Candidate:
Building independence and building the confidence the child needs in order to be successful in their physical wellness, and social life. Able to work as a part of a professional team and as an independent provider. The instructor must be flexible and must adapt to different environments and settings. They must be able to use and create different activities according to the needs of the child, as a single plan might not work for every kid. Along with these, the professionals must have good interpersonal skills and should be concerned about the people they are serving. Working with a wide range of ability levels including persons who have developmental delays, sensory integration, and those on the autism spectrum.
Requirement:
2+ years of Swim Experience 2+ Management Experience Be able to teach Swimming Be able to promote excellence in the Aquatics Team Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment. Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment. An affinity and passion for fitness and how it made a positive impact on your life. Solid writing and grammar skills. Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information. Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Operating Systems Provide an appropriate learning culture and rapport between the instructor and the swimmer. Provide a highly engaging and encouraging instructional approach. Follow the framework of our specialized functional swim curriculum. Maintain session notes log. Providing the necessary instruction to maximize the independence of the child. Improving swim skills with children with learning disabilities, providing body awareness, and fulfilling complex health needs.
Duties:
Execute community Partnerships & Engagement Maintain cleanliness and organization of resource inventory Execute curriculum and reporting of participant skill development. Enhance current programming through innovative, best-practice approaches to all recreation programming. Support the development of marketing campaigns to generate leads Any other duties as assigned Responsible for the acquisition of new members and the retention of existing members Build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members. Manage end-of-season reporting to Director of Sales.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive base + commission; based on experience & performance. Commission paid on sales Opportunity to bonus, based on performance Schedule We are a 12-Month Program with pool time September - June Monday's 4-6 pm, Tuesdays 4-6 pm, Thursday 4:00-6:00 pm and Saturdays 8-12.30 pm Summer We have more hours available over the summer - Daytime swim depending on your schedule
