About the Role ŌDE is seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Guest Experience Assistant to support our Director of Hospitality in creating an exceptional client experience from the moment guests walk through our doors until they leave feeling cared for. This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys staying busy, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in making others feel welcome. As the Director of Hospitality's right hand, you'll help ensure the salon operates seamlessly while supporting front desk operations, client communication, retail presentation, and the overall atmosphere that makes ŌDE unique. ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Guest Support
  • Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
  • Assist with client check-in and check-out.
  • Answer phones, texts, emails, and booking inquiries promptly.
  • Assist with appointment confirmations and scheduling updates.
  • Process retail purchases, gift cards, and client payments.
  • Maintain accurate client notes and records.
  • Help monitor waitlists and fill last-minute appointment openings. Client Experience
  • Prepare beverages and refresh the client lounge.
  • Ensure the reception area, lounge, retail displays, and client restroom remain clean,organized, and inviting.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful touches that elevate their experience.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients and contribute to a welcoming salon culture.
  • Assist in resolving routine client concerns and communicate more complex issues to the Director of Hospitality.
  • Help with flow of the day, ensuring stylists are running on time. Retail & Inventory
  • Restock retail displays throughout the day.
  • Receive and organize inventory deliveries.
  • Assist with inventory counts and product organization.
  • Maintain beautifully merchandised retail shelves.
  • Notify the Director of Hospitality when inventory is running low. Operations & Administrative Support
  • Support daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Communicate scheduling updates to stylists as needed.
  • Assist with organizing salon supplies and hospitality materials.
  • Help prepare for promotions, seasonal events, and client appreciation initiatives.
  • Capture occasional behind-the-scenes content for social media when requested. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who:

Previous hospitality, customer service, retail, or salon experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Availability This is a part-time, flexible position designed to support our busiest service hours.
Ideal availability includes:
  • Afternoons and Evenings
  • Tuesdays through Saturdays
  • Select weekday shifts during peak appointment times
  • Increased availability during the holiday season (November through December), when client demand is at its highest Hours will vary based on business needs, special events, seasonal demand, and team coverage. Flexibility is essential, especially during peak scheduling periods. What We Offer
