Business Administration Full Job Description Summary:
The Customer Service and Pricing Coordinator is responsible for executing metal trading and hedging transactions while managing the end-to-end post-trade process. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely trade confirmations, accurate settlement of transactions, and strong ongoing customer relationships. The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support both trading activities and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Metal Pricing / Trading Support (~60%) Execute metal trading and hedging transactions in accordance with company policies and risk management guidelines. Maintain organized, auditable records of all pricing communications and quote confirmations. Prepare and distribute trade confirmations promptly and accurately to customers. Coordinate and process final settlements, ensuring all financial and contractual obligations are completed correctly and on time. Reconcile trade details with counterparties and resolve any discrepancies. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Monitor metal markets and support pricing, hedging, and trading strategies. Build relationships with customer base and answer any questions Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Handle confidential and non-routine information Use ICRM (Ifos Customer Relation Management) to create documents including Hedge confirmations, credit notes and final settlements Customer Service (~40%) Use ICRM (Ifos Customer Relation Management) to create documents including Hedge confirmations, credit notes, final settlements, pro forma's and order confirmations Create and prepare documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, domestic and international. Communicate with customers and vendors regarding orders, inquiries, and shipment status. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing responsive and professional service. Collaborate with internal teams including sales, customer service and production
Qualifications:
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals on all levels of the organization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. Possess sound judgment in decision making. Must have high levels of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in recording and communicating price information. Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with CRM/ERP systems. Clear, professional phone and written communication skills for daily contact with the trading partner and customers. Ability to follow structured procedures precisely; escalates rather than improvises on pricing matters. No trading license, financial certification, or market-trading experience required. Ability to multitask Bilingual ability is a plus. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. Note on Scope This role is explicitly scoped as a communication and administrative support function. It does not require, and the incumbent should not exercise, independent judgment on trading, hedging, or metal price risk — those decisions remain with Hensel's external trading partner and internal Finance leadership.
