We need someone who protects our team the same way. For 55 years, Laughlin Associates has done something rare in our industry: we stay. While other companies form a company and disappear, we stand beside our clients year after year through the Corporate Veil Protection Service (CVPS), keeping the corporate shield intact that protects everything they've built. We were just named to the Inc. 5000, and we're growing — but not at the cost of what makes us different. This isn't a job for someone who wants to manage from behind a dashboard. We're looking for a Client Services Manager who leads by being in it — someone who knows what's happening with clients and employees because they're standing next to them, not because a report told them so. You'll own the day: the people, the workflow, the coaching, the follow-through. When something's about to fall through the cracks, you're the one who catches it. When a client escalation needs a steady hand, you're the one who picks up the phone. What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate the CVPS and Customer Service teams — every day, on the floor
- Set clear expectations and hold your team accountable to them
- Catch problems before they become client issues
- Handle escalated client situations directly and see them through to resolution
- Monitor workload, appointments, follow-up, and renewals across the team
- Keep client records current and spot which employees need coaching before performance slips
- Communicate constantly with your team, your clients, and leadership
- Step in and work alongside your team when the floor needs you What You Bring
- At least 3 years in a client-service, account-management, or customer-success environment
- 1-2 years directly supervising a team, including coaching and accountability
- Real experience handling escalated client situations and bringing them to resolution
- A track record of being a hands-on manager who works with their team, not above it
- Registered agent or corporate compliance experience is a plus, not required Technical Skills You'll Need
- Daily comfort working in a CRM to review client records, activities, appointments, and team performance (Creatio experience a plus, not required)
- Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, KPI reports, and performance dashboards
- Confident managing communication across email, phone, text, and video
- Able to use calendars, task lists, and workflow tools to keep commitments on schedule
- Quick to learn new systems, with basic troubleshooting skills and good judgment on when to escalate
- Comfortable using AI tools for communication, organization, and productivity — prior business use is a plus This is a floor-leadership role — visible, accessible, and hands-on every single day.
