Overview As a Small Business Client Service Manager II, you ll own complex client portfolios and act as a strategic advisor, not just maintaining business, but actively expanding it. By leveraging advanced tools and insights, you ll act as a trusted advisor, uncovering growth opportunities, strengthening retention, and delivering tailored solutions aligned with client needs. How you'll make an impact Manage and grow a Small Business portfolio, delivering high-quality service at scale Lead complex renewals independently, ensuring competitive and accurate solutions aligned to client needs Identify and pursue growth opportunities, supporting cross-sell initiatives and strengthening client relationships Provide consultative guidance, helping clients understand risks and make informed decisions Resolve complex service issues quickly, using sound judgment and accountability Maintain operational excellence through compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement Thrive in a high-volume environment while delivering a strong client experience Support the team as an informal leader, sharing best practices and elevating performance Leverage technology and data to improve efficiency and client outcomes Drive retention, efficiency, and revenue through proactive service delivery About You 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance client service or account management, with a track record of independently managing moderately complex Small Business accounts An active P&C license and a strong understanding of insurance products, coverage options, underwriting principles, and service processes The ability to assess complex client needs and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions with confidence and precision A consultative approach to engaging clients, building trust, and influencing decisions aligned with their goals A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to expand accounts, cross-sell, and strengthen relationships Strong decision-making skills to resolve challenges effectively, always keeping client outcomes in focus Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence A natural ability to lead through influence, collaborate effectively, and share knowledge to elevate team performance A forward-thinking mindset to continuously improve processes, leverage technology, and drive results in a fast-paced, evolving environment Compensation and benefits At Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
