Job Description

The Customer Success Manager role is part relationship-builder, part problem-solver, and part strategist. It's where sales meets operations, and no two days look the same. Your primary responsibility is to grow and strengthen business with your assigned accounts by getting to know your customers, educating them on what we can do, and building long-term partnerships. You'll be the go-to connection between our customers and our sales, carrier, and operations teams, making sure every shipment is handled seamlessly. When challenges come up, you'll bring creative solutions, and when opportunities come up, you'll be the first to spot them. You Love building relationships that last. Essential Responsibilities:
Build and grow long-term relationships with your assigned accounts, serving as a brand ambassador for our company's values and capabilities Bring creative solutions to customers' freight challenges that increase loyalty and open the door to new business Expand our footprint by identifying opportunities with other divisions and business units within your accounts Track month-over-month and year-over-year revenue to keep your accounts growing Stay proactively aware of client activities, challenges, and needs so you can get ahead of potential issues Partner with our Carrier Sales and Transport teams to negotiate rates, identify carriers, and procure specialized equipment, all while meeting profitability and service goals Use your freight market knowledge to bid on and respond to customer needs Act as the primary link between sales and operations so customers receive cohesive, coordinated service Back up the operations team when needed to keep service consistent and top-notch Plan and lead periodic business reviews with customers to strengthen partnerships, work through issues, and map out future opportunities Visit customers in person regularly, including strategic trips to larger out-of-town accounts Resolve billing and administrative issues promptly and efficiently
Must-Haves:
3-7 years of account management or sales experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to negotiate and to resolve conflicts successfully and professionally Creativity and outside-of-the-box thinking to solve problems Task management and prioritization: proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach to work Proficiency in general office computer skills: email, internet,
Word, Excel Nice-to-Haves:
