Job Description
Job Overview The Customer Service Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing customer transportation orders, coordinating shipments, and maintaining communication between customers, drivers, and dispatch teams. This role ensures timely order entry, accurate shipment tracking, and exceptional customer service throughout the transportation process. Responsibilities • Fully embrace and set personal example for the company's Vision, Mission and Core Values. Enter and process customer transportation orders accurately and efficiently into McLeod. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, pickup and delivery schedules, and service updates. Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and operations teams to ensure on-time deliveries. Monitor loads from pickup through delivery and provide proactive updates to customers. Maintain accurate records of orders, shipment details, and customer communications. Verify load information, billing details, and required documentation. Assist with scheduling and routing adjustments when necessary. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. Follow company policies, transportation regulations, and customer service standards. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Previous experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, or trucking operations preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong problem-solving and customer-focused mindset. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Experience in using McLeod is a bonus.
