We are seeking a skilled and motivated Propane Service Manager to join our team and lead with expertise and professionalism. As our Service Manager, you will oversee propane system installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring top-tier safety and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of technicians, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of service technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Ensure service team is maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Direct the daily activities of the other service technicians, confirming that priority workload is completed in a timely and proficient manner. Scheduling, coordinating, and performing service jobs for customers. Training and development of the other members of the service team. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing efficient and effective solutions. Install tanks following all state and local requirements including NFPA 58 and 54. Install and maintain gas piping systems; including underground lines, above ground lines, and interior piping. Perform inspections and leak tests for both commercial and residential customers. Prepare service orders related to work performed in accordance with company and industry standards. Respond to customer emergencies. Recognize and understand all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes pertaining to the installation and maintenance of tanks, propane equipment and supply systems. Act as liaison between customers and branches to address questions, concerns, or complaints. Educate customers on safe and proper operation and maintenance of their systems. Report all incidents and accidents to the Branch Manager. Rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed. Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner at all times. Inspect Company vehicle daily and reports any problems. Manage inventory and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements :

5-7 years experience as a propane service technician or related field. Strong knowledge of Propane systems and industry standards; preferred with HVAC. High School Diploma or General Education Degree/Technical college Leadership experience and ability to train and motivate a team. CDL with Hazmat/ Tanker endorsement preferred. Computer experience for completing service orders and maintaining documentation. Willing and able to train service apprentices. Familiarity with propane systems, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and professional appearance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments and weather conditions. Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing. Compensation:

Hourly Rate between $25 and $35 depending on experience.
