Full-Time, Exempt Position Overview A global manufacturing company is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to provide leadership across Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, and related commercial operations. This position will lead teams across multiple locations and serve as a key link between customer demand, Sales, manufacturing locations, and operational execution. The manager will oversee customer and purchasing processes, support effective order fulfillment and material availability, and drive continuous improvement across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay activities. The ideal candidate combines hands-on operational leadership with strong business judgment and is comfortable developing employees, improving processes, and working across multiple functions and locations. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop Customer Service, Logistics, and Purchasing teams across multiple locations. Oversee customer service, order management, warehouse coordination, and related commercial activities. Ensure accurate order processing, responsive customer communication, and effective issue resolution. Partner with Sales to align customer requirements, forecasts, priorities, and delivery commitments. Lead purchasing activities and coordinate with manufacturing locations to support inventory and product availability. Monitor purchase orders, inventory, material availability, and delivery performance, proactively addressing shortages and delays. Coordinate across Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, and manufacturing locations. Serve as an escalation point for customer and operational issues. Use KPIs and data to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Simplify, standardize, and improve commercial processes across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay activities. Build consistent processes, accountability, and effective ways of working across teams and locations. Required Qualifications Relevant experience in Customer Service, Commercial Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Logistics, or a related function. Previous experience leading and developing employees. Working knowledge of purchasing, order management, inventory, fulfillment, and supply processes. Experience working effectively across multiple departments and organizational levels. Strong customer service and business orientation. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing customer, supply, and operational priorities. Experience using data and KPIs to manage performance and drive improvement. Ability to travel between company locations as required. Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field. ERP system experience. Experience with business process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in a manufacturing or international business environment. Experience coordinating with overseas manufacturing locations or business partners. Experience managing teams or operations across multiple locations. Experience with order-to-cash and/or procure-to-pay processes. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT.
