We're seeking an analytical, detail-driven Commercial Lines Account Manager who brings a disciplined, technical approach to managing complex commercial accounts, thrives working independently, and takes pride in providing accurate, thorough support to clients. As Account Manager, you'll serve as the primary liaison between business clients, Commercial Risk Advisors, and insurance carriers, managing the full policy lifecycle with the accuracy, follow-through, and focus this technical role demands. What You'll Do Serve as the main point of contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries and providing counsel on coverage with a client-first mindset Manage the new and renewal process, including marketing to carriers, preparing proposals, and negotiating with underwriters Proactively communicate with Commercial Risk Advisors on client activity Stay abreast of trends, products, pricing, and competitive markets Analyze quotes, endorsements, policy forms, audits, and cancellations for accuracy while meeting agency documentation and compliance standards Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate coverage, identifying gaps and providing solutions Issue applications, binders, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and cancellations; process premium billing and handle claim inquiries as needed What We're Looking For Must have an active PA Property & Casualty (P&C) producer license 2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, including managing complex accounts- - Experience with municipalities a plus Intermediate to advanced proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Why Join Strickler Agency Competitive salary with stability and growth opportunity A professional environment that values accuracy, expertise, and team environment Be part of a team whose collective expertise delivers stable, growth-driven solutions for clients
