Job Description
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. This role manages customer relationships and apparel projects from concept through delivery, ensuring expectations are clear, timelines stay on track, and issues are resolved proactively.
The ideal candidate combines strong customer engagement, project management, presentation, organization, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain trusted customer relationships by understanding account objectives, standards, programs, timelines, and service expectations.
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, leading meetings, presentations, project reviews, and follow-up communication.
Manage multiple projects and orders from quoting through artwork, sampling, approvals, production, and delivery, with clear milestones and accountability.
Translate customer needs into accurate internal direction and coordinate changes, approvals, priorities, and decisions across departments.
Collaborate with Art, Product Development, Sourcing, Planning, Production, and Distribution to ensure quality execution and on-time delivery.
Anticipate risks, identify root causes, develop practical solutions, and communicate recovery plans promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate account and project information in ERP and CRM systems.
Provide timely status updates, monitor customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow existing business.
QualificationsFive or more years of account management, project management, customer success, or related client-facing experience; apparel, promotional products, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage customers, lead meetings, and manage difficult conversations professionally.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple complex projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Effective presentation skills, including the ability to communicate product concepts, recommendations, timelines, and solutions clearly.
Proven problem-solving ability with a proactive, resourceful approach to resolving issues and keeping projects moving.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with internal teams.
High attention to detail, follow-through, ownership, and accountability.
Comfort using ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace tools.
