It's a working leadership role that will require managing a crew of field technicians. Owning the quality and safety of the work they perform and ensure J&W and customer standards are met/exceeded. Overseeing the people, the equipment, and the paperwork included. Candidate will make sure the right crew is on the right job with equipment assembled and tested properly, and service technician performance are met. Within J&W, reporting/communicating to the division manager, working closely alongside our shop and department management functions. Candidate must have oilfield experience, has led people before, and holds a high standard. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of on-site service activities, ensuring that customer needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of field technicians and support staff, providing coaching, leadreship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment. Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation for on-site service visits, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services aligned with client expectations. Develop and ensure operational procedures to optimize field workflows, safety protocols, and quality standards are met. Collaborate closely with coworkers such as inside sales, dispatch, and technical departments to ensure seamless service execution. Manage communication by providing updates, negotiating service terms when necessary, and addressing escalations promptly. Utilize and develop tools to monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Oversee safety compliance and all company standards are met. Qualifications 3+ years in oilfield pressure control — BOP testing, wellhead installation, or rental equipment service Proven management experience in a customer support or technical service environment, preferably supervising teams in call center management or field operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster cross-functional collaboration. Working knowledge of API standards and equipment traceability, and the discipline to document it Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems; familiarity with analytics tools is advantageous. Comfortable on a computer — rental/inventory systems, email, spreadsheets. Roughly half this job is paperwork done right Able to pass pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check. Experience managing teams in a customer support role with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to analyze operational data for decision-making purposes; strong coaching skills to develop team capabilities. Technical proficiency related to the services provided by the organization; understanding of industry-specific tools or systems is preferred.
