Full-Time or Part-Time Join Our Team We are seeking a firearm enthusiast with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to join our service department as a Firearm Service Advisor. This position serves as the primary link between our gunsmiths and customers, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflow, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, possesses a solid understanding of firearms and related accessories, and is passionate about helping customers find solutions for their firearm service and customization needs. Position Overview The Firearm Service Advisor acts as a liaison between our gunsmithing team and customers, managing firearm repair orders, coordinating communication, and educating customers on the products and services we offer. This role combines customer service, firearm knowledge, administrative responsibilities, and sales support. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and support both in person and over the phone. Demonstrate working knowledge of handguns, rifles, shotguns, optics, and firearm accessories. Educate customers on available gunsmithing services, including: Firearm repairs Customization Accessory installation Optic mounting Refinishing Laser engraving Factory warranty assistance Process firearm repair intake and customer pickups. Create, manage, and maintain work orders. Serve as the primary communication channel between customers and gunsmiths. Maintain accurate firearm records and ensure departmental compliance with applicable regulations. Source parts, materials, and components required for repairs and projects. Coordinate firearm and parts shipments. Assist with basic firearm maintenance as needed, including rental fleet firearms and store-owned used firearms. Maintain clean, organized workspaces and secure firearm storage areas. Perform additional duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent (required) Ability to pass a background check. Availability to work weekends and select holidays. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. 1+ year of customer service experience or related professional experience.
Intermediate knowledge of:
Firearms Optics Ammunition Firearm accessories Basic understanding of mechanical concepts related to firearm repair and gunsmithing.
