We work with customers of all sizes and industries to fabricate make-to-order parts from sheet, plate, and structural metals. Our shop offers a variety of services, including laser cutting, metal forming, hardware installation, Tig/Mig welding (along with laser welding and robotic welding), powder coating, assembly and shipping. Overview We are seeking a Customer Account Manager to work as the primary point of contact for our customer base. The Customer Account Representative will work between our customers and internal departments to handle requests, fulfill orders, and solve problems. The primary responsibility will be the entry, tracking, shipping and billing of customer orders. This includes handling all communications between the company the the customer; working with internal departments to get updates, fulfill requests or solve problems; coordinating transport of completed orders to customers; and the preparations and organization of relevant customer documentation. Responsibilities Interact with customers with a high degree of professionalism and provide support to ensure customers receive outstanding service. Promptly process incoming orders received via email, phone, etc. Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to ensure orders and requirements are fulfilled on time. Track orders and help coordinate transportation with internal shipping team or external freight carriers to ensure timely delivery. Organize and maintain digital documents and systems based on internal and/or customer requirements. Handle customer product rejections (RMAs) and issues to ensure they are corrected in a timely manner. Some other duties may be assigned, including special projects, answering the office phone and running errands as necessary. Utilize technical knowledge to support customers with product inquiries. Requirements Clear, professional and friendly communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes Perform in active, fast-paced environment - some outdoor work required in coordinating with the shop. Preferences Experience with ERP software Experience in customer service or in a customer-facing role. High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:
