As a Service Manager with American Pest, you will lead and support a team of 8-12 technicians who serve both residential and commercial customers. Your role is to ensure your team operates safely, consistently, and in accordance with the high standards our customers expect. You'll oversee day-to-day field operations, provide ongoing coaching and development for technicians, and ensure service quality and customer experience remain strong across your routes. In addition to supporting your team, you will occasionally assist with evaluating new customer needs and recommending effective pest management solutions. You will also ensure service activities are properly documented and that required reports and operational records are completed accurately and on time. Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful Service Manager with American Pest? For starters, you'll have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role . You'll also have... Experience managing front-line/customer-focused service professionals (preferred) Experience managing remote employees (preferred) A firm understanding of customer service and de-escalation The ability to hold team accountable daily check-ins, goal setting, performance management, etc. The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of the way areas, and position self to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds The ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, PestPac (preferred), etc. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Good oral and written communication skills Solid attention to detail Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. Availability to work a flexible schedule (typical hours range between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with occasional exceptions) Availability to work some weekends High school degree or equivalent Who We Are...
