Category Service / Technician Type Full-Time (FT) Overview Milton CAT is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Field Service Coordinator to join our Field Service Department. In this role, you will be a critical support partner to our service technicians, supervisors, and customers by ensuring service requests are scheduled, communicated, and closed efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values follow-through, and enjoys problem-solving while supporting a high-performing service team.
Pay Range:
Pay range is $26.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience. Why Milton CAT? Assist with coordinating and scheduling work for field service technicians, supporting efficient routing and customer communication. Confirm scheduling details with customers and provide status updates as needed. Open, update, and close work orders and invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Order parts required for field service and shop repairs. Assist with repair quotes and incremental service estimates. Support timecard entry and administrative tracking for service personnel. Collaborate with CSA and other internal departments to meet service and customer needs. Provide coverage and support for other Service Department roles as needed. Maintain confidentiality of customer, pricing, and company information. Support supervisors in the timely closure of service calls and documentation. Remain flexible to work occasional after-hours coverage to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED required; college or technical coursework preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
Prior experience supporting field service, dispatch, or technical operations. Experience working with service management or ERP systems. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
