Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cookware, and utensils are cleaned according to food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the kitchen team in maintaining smooth operations. Bypass dirty dishes from service stations to designated cleaning areas while adhering to proper manual handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations and storage areas to meet sanitation standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware from dining areas to the kitchen for cleaning. Follow all health and safety standards related to kitchen sanitation, food handling, and equipment operation. Assist with basic food safety management practices and ensure compliance with kitchen health and safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, sanitation standards, and kitchen health protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or industrial cleaning machines is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and serving guests. Prior experience in catering, banquet service, hotel kitchens, or culinary environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
