Position Overview We are seeking a professional, organized, and driven Accounting & Executive Client Services Manager to work closely with the owner of our firm. This role combines accounting, executive support, client service, and leadership development. The successful candidate will help manage high-profile client relationships while learning the firm's systems, processes, and operations. Over time, this person will assume greater responsibility for select clients and may ultimately lead a department. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career with the company. Key Responsibilities Executive Support, Client Services & Communication
- Work with the owner to manage priorities, client communications, meetings, and follow-up.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings and conference calls.
- Take notes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, email correspondence, and other administrative needs.
- Draft and respond to client communications professionally when appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with high-profile clients and serve as a dependable point of contact.
- Learn each client's business, accounting needs, processes, and expectations.
- Respond to questions, help resolve issues, and coordinate solutions internally.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, take accurate messages, and maintain professional phone and email etiquette.
- Protect confidential information and represent the company professionally with clients, coworkers, vendors, and leadership. Accounting & Workflow Management
- Perform or oversee accounting and bookkeeping functions based on experience.
- Review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with financial reporting, client deliverables, accounting projects, and special requests.
- Identify discrepancies and process issues, and communicate accounting information clearly.
- Learn, maintain, and improve the firm's accounting systems, procedures, standards, and client-specific workflows.
Leadership Development This position offers a clear path toward increased responsibility and leadership. Working closely with the owner, the successful candidate will learn the firm's systems, client relationships, decision-making processes, and operational responsibilities. As proficiency develops, responsibilities may expand to include:
- Managing selected high-profile client accounts independently.
- Leading client meetings and conference calls.
- Training and mentoring team members.
- Establishing departmental procedures and quality standards.
- Managing workflow and client satisfaction.
- Assisting with hiring, onboarding, delegation, and team oversight.
