Job Description
Corporate Overview Mastip Inc. is a global hot runner supplier, supporting OEMs, custom injection molders, and mold builders. Mastip's focus is to provide exceptional solutions for hot runner applications, industry leading customer service and satisfaction, and continuously develop advanced solutions for complex injection molding applications. Job Description Mastip is seeking a Technical Service Manager to support the service, assembly, and testing of hot runner systems. This role will work closely with customers to resolve concerns and issues with hot runner systems and processing challenges for injection molded parts. The Technical Service Manager will oversee the daily assembly and shop schedule to ensure systems are assembled, tested, and delivered on time. This role requires the ability to be onsite at customers' locations to support hot runner and processing concerns. Troubleshooting and problem solving are a key attribute for success in this role. The Technical Service Manager will also review, quote projects, and provide technical support to the entire Mastip team from assembly, sales, accounting, logistics as well as Mastip's corporate team in New Zealand. The ideal candidate for this role will have injection mold building experience, machining experience, knowledge of hot runner systems, exposure to injection mold processing, and is customer service and detail oriented. Response time for inquiries is critical to maintain reputation as a customer service leader. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries for technical support Travel to customers to provide on-site technical support Provide technical support to the Mastip team Oversee the assembly and schedule to ensure systems are delivered on time Work with Mastip team to obtain spare parts and keep accurate flow of inventory Perform project review and quoting as necessary This role will provide back up in other areas when necessary Qualifications / Experience 5+ years of experience in Mold Making or Plastic Injection Industry would be preferable with a good understanding and knowledge of the entire plastic industry. Experience in hot runner systems, polymers, and processing would be beneficial Machining and Injection Mold Building Working knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software Account Management skills required to create, maintain, and enhance customer relationships and sales High School Education (Minimum) Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to learn Mastip programs Positive attitude with the desire to work as a team Customer service oriented Strong written and verbal communication Self-motivated, time management, and reliable Ability to work on-site between 8-5. Hours may vary with exceptions. Ability to commute, and reasonably located to Jackson, WI Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for company benefits after 30 days, including 3 weeks of annual vacation and 5 days Paid Time Off per year.
