Job Description

Engineered Marine Products (Bessemer, AL) is growing & looking to add an additional customer service representative! We are a company that is privately owned, employee focused, & an innovative leader in the marine industry. We are looking to hire an experienced individual, who can excel in this Customer Service role, to assist with both our current & new customer base!
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming customer calls & emails, process customer orders, invoice quickly/accurately, process credits/RGAs, & update tracking numbers. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with our customers. Maintain/update customer information in the customer service database. Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company programs and policies. Monitor inventory, while speaking with customers, and notify production department of inquiries to ensure optimal finished goods inventory levels. Other office duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a customer service representative preferred (not required). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and other computer skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous and diligent. Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time. Multitasking. Compensation, & Benefits :
Full-Time:
Monday-Friday 7 A.M.->4 P.M. (40 hours per week). Starting pay for this position is $19.00 per hour (depending on prior experience & knowledge) with over-time often available. After the 90-day probation period is over, you will also receive healthcare benefit options (BCBS Health & Dental), & paid sick days. After 1,000 hours of employment, a company matching 401k will be offered. After one year of employment, you will receive two-weeks of paid vacation time.
