Customer Service & Product Listing Associate Under the direction of the E-Commerce Manager, this hybrid role focuses on two primary areas - customer service and product listing specifically for our website, . The customer service portion is the number one priority, in order to make sure our customers are provided with radical customer service on all incoming phone, chat, and email inquiries related to our website. The secondary responsibility of this job is to assist with creating and uploading product descriptions for apparel, footwear, and accessories that are sold on our website. In addition to this, this role will assist the product listing team in product research and photo gathering and editing. Job Responsibilities Customer Service (Priority #1) Answering phone/chat/email inquiries and ensuring that the customer is at the center of every decision made. Assist customers in navigating our website and answering questions about products and brands we sell. Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers. Respond to customers in a timely, quick fashion in order to provide them with radical customer service and to make sure our response time stays excellent. Assist in checking online orders for potential fraud. Product Listing (Priority #2, When Customer Service Is Handled) Working efficiently to create and upload product listings to our E-commerce website, using SEO and key words in product descriptions. Writing compelling product descriptions, titles, and bullet points that highlight features and benefits. Gathering and editing photos using Photoshop and working back with other members of the marketing team to upload accurate and appealing product images. Making improvements to current product listings and pages. Reviews competitor's websites for ideas and SEO content. Research high-performing key words that will increase sales & visibility and drive engagement. Maintain consistency on all products for site and brand guidelines. Research new products and brands based on the company's open to buy.
Other :
Provides support with special projects assigned by E-commerce Manager or Asst. Manager. Performs general housekeeping of personal work area and assists co-workers in maintaining sanitary shared areas. Other Duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. Any computer training certification would be a plus. An Associates or Bachelors degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, or Business is a plus. 2 years or more experience working in a call center or a retail environment is a plus. 1 year experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, Excel, or any equivalent software. Phone skills and etiquette, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems. Great active listening skills. Creativity and a desire to grow in the E-Commerce Industry. Attention-to-detail is a must. Multi-Tasker and Self-Starter. Time management and organizational skills. Comfortable switching between multiple PC applications Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Physical Demands Sitting for extended periods of time Looking at PC screen for up to 8 hours a day Ability to operate standard office equipment. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. or more Occasionally required to stand or walk. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
