Job description: As a RV Service Advisor , you serve as the primary guide for travelers, turning stressful mechanical breakdowns into seamless repair experiences. Unlike standard automotive writers, you manage intricate multi-system configurations—such as slide-outs, onboard generators, and complex plumbing. Responsibilities:
Providing support for all service-related situations (in-store, phone, email, etc.) Must consult with technicians, warranty personnel, and possibly other departments to identify issues, gather information, and plan for proper solutions. Must possess the ability to de-escalate stressful repair situations through transparent, easy-to-understand communication. Understanding customer perception and interpretation to turn their feedback, purchase history, or prior visits into actionable service solutions. Maintain a trusted relationship with customers prior to and after their visit. Ensure all interactions with customers are properly documented, and final invoices, repair orders, and payments reconcile without discrepancy Assess customer needs, sell additional needed services, and schedule appointments
Skills:
Customer-focused and self-motivated Prior experience in Auto or RV service department is required Strong written and verbal communication skills are required Excellent computer skills are a must Highly organized with attention to detail Understanding work order billing and completion Physical requirements: Lifting 20 to 50 pounds Walk and stand throughout the workday on hard surfaces Bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting Varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions, temperature, and noises
