Job Description
As a Member Service Representative, your primary responsibility is to create a positive and seamless experience for members and prospective members—whether by phone, online, or in person. From the moment they enter the branch to the time they leave, you will represent TruService Community Federal Credit Union with professionalism and care. This role combines two key functions: Teller and Financial Advisor . You will not only process routine transactions but also help members identify their financial needs and recommend the full range of products and services offered by TruService. Key Responsibilities Deliver prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all members. Accurately and efficiently process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. Open new accounts such as savings, checking, CDs, IRAs, and other deposit products. Assist members with electronic and online services, including remote deposit, internet banking, and card services. Serve members through multiple channels—phone, email, and in-person—by understanding their needs and providing solutions or referrals. Support credit union growth by originating new accounts and making targeted referrals for loans, credit cards, and other products to deepen member relationships. Conduct outbound calls for new member onboarding and participate in promotional campaigns. Maintain professional interactions and assist with credit union events. Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations and member satisfaction.
