The Phone Rep is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process and performing routine duties within the clinic. This position is located in North Little Rock, AR. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive: Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors on the telephone. Scheduling referrals and communicating with the referring office. Has a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and exhibits genuine, caring and friendly behavior. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments by telephone or fax. Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information. Gather necessary demographic and insurance information from the patient to create and/or update the patient's medical record. Interact with patients and staff in a professional manner that promotes the values of our clinic and promotes teamwork.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal skills. Great Customer Service. Time Management. Problem solving. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn electronic medical records. Organization. HIPAA compliance.
