•Seeking An Export Customer Service Representative•
Summary:
Coordinate schedules for export loads with customers and suppliers in accordance with port cutoffs and driver availability. Keep customers informed of the movement of export loads.
Job Duties:
Schedule loading dates and times with customers in accordance with port cutoff and driver availability. Update Export Spreadsheet with loading schedules and other pertinent data. Monitor loads for assigned key accounts from receipt through completion. Communicate status to customers via daily reports. Answer incoming customer phone calls and e-mails promptly and professionally. Ensure special needs or problems are communicated to the Operations Staff to ensure proper fulfillment. Discuss customer needs or problems with Operations Manager or National Sales Manager as needed. Confirm validity of booking numbers with steamship lines and terminals. Correct problems with inaccurate booking numbers, i.e. container size, full bookings, last received date cutoffs or rolled bookings. Assist and Fill In for other Export Customer Service personnel as needed (i.e. Create Freight Bills, Submit Rail Billing, Check Bookings, etc.) Obtain guarantees for additional charges and ensure all Freight Bills are updated and billable prior to Load Completion. Work with Accounting personnel to ensure all charges are collectable.
Qualifications:
Intermediate computer skills to navigate and update Truckmate database and Microsoft Office required. Must be detail oriented with strong research and organizational skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5
PM Pay:
$21 Hourly
