Job Summary:
To collaborate with the Event Planner to schedule, develop, coordinate, and manage logistical services of marketing-related events, exhibits and/or projects for internal and external customers that may require on-site implementation. This is an entry-level project manager position whose key role is management responsibility for 7 to 12 projects per week. To accomplish this the incumbent would work closely with the Field Operations Manager and Event Planner.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for working closely with the other Event Planner on countless tasks for onsite execution of events, including, but not limited to: Manage event intake process Manager Eventscase Registration per group Greeting groups upon arrival at THDLC Directing groups to assigned rooms Maintain contact and customer satisfaction during the actual event Assist with facility social media account(s) Work with the other Event Planner on specific needs for events and communicate those needs to the F&B (food & beverage) staff. Responsibilities related to the F&B staff include: Menu creation with the head chef Communicating food allergies to the chef F&B breaks are set on time and in the correct places Ensure the presentation of F&B services meets the standards/expectations of the DLC's Keep inventory of F&B related to breaks as well as anything needed for breaks such as paper goods, cutlery, etc. Assist head chef in F&B orders Maintain consistent food and beverage options for breaks while being mindful of additional seasonal options Manage food costs Collaborate and communicate with facilities logistics team for event set up Collaborate and communicate with head chef on extra staffing needed for large events Assist whenever extra help is needed including prepping, setting breaks, setting tables, etc.

Summary Pay Range:
$72,360.00 - $108,540.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
