Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Audiology Call Center Representative, where your energetic communication skills and passion for helping others will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking audiology services, providing exceptional customer service and support. Your positive attitude, combined with your ability to handle diverse inquiries efficiently, will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every caller. The call center representative's job description includes answering customer calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues over the phone or via other channels like email or chat. Key duties involve providing product/service information, processing orders and payments, and maintaining detailed customer records in a CRM system. They must also maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while aiming to meet performance metrics. Duties and Responsibilities Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing courteous assistance to patients and healthcare providers. Gather and verify patient information accurately using data entry systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and complete. Assist callers with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, or cancellations while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize computer skills to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently and perform routine administrative tasks. Troubleshoot problems, handle complaints, and de-escalate situations with customers. Take orders, process payments, issue refunds, and assist with account updates or renewals. Provide accurate information, explain procedures, and document every customer interaction in a CRM system. Identify and escalate high-priority issues to management when necessary. Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and maintain positive client relationships. Qualifications Bilingual abilities are highly preferred, but not required, to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare call center is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology or hearing health is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry, EHR systems, and general office software. Demonstrated customer service expertise with a professional phone manner and attention to detail. Analysis skills to assess caller needs quickly and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues when necessary.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
