Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Assitant to join our team in Alameda, CA. This role is the hub of our operations—managing customer communication, coordinating schedules, preparing estimates, and ensuring materials are ordered so jobs run smoothly. The ideal candidate has a background in customer service within the glass or construction industry, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being the go-to person who keeps everything running on track. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls; provide friendly, professional customer service
- Prepare estimates in company software and send to customers
- Assist with scheduling customer jobs and coordinating with the team
- Order glass and other supplies necessary to complete projects
- Manage data entry in QuickBooks and maintain accurate records
- Provide follow-up communication with customers: return calls, take messages, and ensure timely responses
- Support the team with general office administration and problem-solving Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of customer service experience (required)
- Prior experience in the glass industry strongly preferred; construction or related field required
- Proficient with intermediate computer skills (experience with estimating or property software a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to learn industry-specific processes and systems
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
