Michaan's Auctions is a leading, full service auction house on the West Coast specializing in the appraisal and sale of antiques and fine art. Some of Michaan's specialty departments include Asian Works of Art, Furniture and Decorative Arts, Modern & Contemporary European and American Paintings/Prints and Jewelry. Established in 2002, Michaan's Auctions holds up to thirty sales each year that attract a broad base of buyers and consignors the world over. With one of the largest facilities in Northern California, Michaan's offers buyers the ability to preview and bid on many unique and desirable pieces. Become a part of our team! Now hiring Preview Staff at Michaan's Auctions. Art and Antiques lovers, we are currently interviewing people to staff our Auction Previews and Auctions. Previews and auctions are a unique opportunity for interested individuals to gain knowledge about Fine Art, Antiques, Collectibles, and the auction business. This is a customer service position assisting clients to view items, assist clients with picking up their purchased items, and answering any auction questions. Must be able to stand/ walk around for long periods of time. We are seeking candidates who have excellent customer service skills, great verbal communication, and a love for Fine Art and Antiques. This is a temporary on-call position with an hourly wage of $17.76 per hour. Preview Staff can choose which days and times work with their schedule out of the 1-10 days available per month.
