This position is responsible for customer reception, service writing, estimates, repair status follow-up, and daily front desk support. This is a key role in the shop. You will be the first impression for our customers and an important link between customers and technicians. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, strong communication skills, and a professional, friendly approach who can perform well in a fast-paced shop environment. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments Create work orders, prepare estimates, and clearly explain service recommendations Communicate with technicians and the store manager regarding repair progress and keep customers updated Help promote and recommend the shop's core services, including: Tires Wheel alignments Oil changes and routine maintenance Brake service Suspension repair Battery replacement Basic diagnostics Handle service writing, estimates, invoicing, cashiering, and other front desk administrative tasks Support the vehicle pickup process and help ensure a smooth customer experience Handle basic customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the store manager when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Assist with customer follow-up, repeat customer retention, and general shop support as needed Qualifications Previous experience in front desk, customer service, retail, sales, or automotive service is preferred Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and strong people skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with customers in a friendly, patient, and professional manner Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude Detail-oriented, responsible, and dependable Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure well Basic computer skills, including service writing, estimates, and cashiering Experience with POS systems or shop management software is preferred Experience with Mitchell 1 is a plus Bilingual in English/Chinese or English/Spanish is a plus What We're Looking For A positive and proactive attitude An outgoing and cheerful personality Strong communication and problem-solving skills A customer-first mindset Strong execution and willingness to learn The ability to communicate smoothly with customers, technicians, and managers Benefits Competitive hourly pay Performance bonus / sales commission Paid time off Employee discounts Stable long-term opportunity Supportive team environment and room for growth Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday, full day Saturday, morning shift Why Join Us We are looking for someone who is positive, outgoing, eager to learn, and great with people to join our front desk team.
