Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Rep, Call Center, to support a busy sales and operations team in a fast-paced packaging, warehouse, and distribution environment. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative team that values clear communication, accuracy, accountability, and responsive service. T Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process incoming orders through EDI, web portals, email, and telephone channels.
- Monitor order progress, communicate order status, and ensure critical timelines are met.
- Coordinate order changes, specifications, price updates, RFQs, and customer requirements with suppliers, sales representatives, and warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate customer files, pricing information, specification documents, and finished goods inventory records.
- Support customer and supplier communication related to sourcing, delivery, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Review and verify aerospace quality clauses, government flow-down requirements, and contractual compliance details. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire or temp-to-hire, depending on candidate fit.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.- Work location: Camarillo, CA.
- Full-time position. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process customer orders and manage order flow from entry through delivery.
- Coordinate customer service, supplier communication, RFQs, specifications, and order updates.
- Support sales representatives with account activity, inventory questions, pricing updates, and customer requirements.
- Review aerospace, government, and defense contract requirements related to customer orders.
- At least 5 years of customer service, sourcing, or sales experience in an office environment.
- Experience working in aerospace or navigating federal government or defense contract workflows.
- Understanding of corrugated manufacturing capabilities, packaging products, case and foam experience, and truck utilization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
- Strong math, time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing situations, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a technical customer support environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS, or DPAS priority ratings.
- Experience with EDI systems and customer portal management systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting technical packaging, aerospace, defense, or regulated customer accounts.
