Salary:
$90,000 to $160,000 Job Description Summary As a Service Advisor , you will be a key member of our service team, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the service department. You will serve as the liaison between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring that customer vehicles are properly diagnosed, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner.Responsibilities:
Greet customers professionally, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle service needs. Explain recommended services and repairs, provide cost estimates, and obtain customer authorization. Coordinate workflow to maximize service department efficiency. Communicate with technicians to monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion of work. Keep customers informed throughout the service process, including repair status, timelines, and any delays. Prepare and explain repair orders and invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate service records. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve concerns, and educate them on recommended maintenance services. Qualifications Previous automotive service advising, or dealership service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build customer relationships. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance, repair services, and vehicle systems. Proficient with computers, dealership management systems, and service scheduling software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.Additional Information Compensation:
$90,000 to $160,000 (The Service Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include hourly rate. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value, or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.)Schedule:
