Summary:
The Customer Service Specialist processes orders, makes changes to orders and escalates customer concerns as needed. This position provides product and service information and resolves queries. The Customer Service Specialist will ensure the accuracy of data entry and ensure all orders are shipped to meet customer requirements.
What You'll Do:
Handle day-to-day order processing for assigned accounts, including handling reworks as requested by the customer Processes and monitors shipping and receiving transactions and documentation, including, but not limited to receipts, bills of lading, orders, and confirming freight shipments for specific customers to ensure timeliness and accuracy Handles tight deadlines and changing priorities Answer phone calls and respond to the shipping office window Processes credit memos, as necessary Interface with customers to relay operational requirements to our warehouse staff Responds to general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing Serves as liaison between chain order and warehouse Create shipment orders utilizing our Transportation Management Software Adheres to company policies, procedures, and work rules Performs other duties as assigned STG Logistics reserves the right to change duties, responsibilities, and activities at any time with or without notice.
What You'll Bring:
3 years of customer service experience preferred Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees Ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize work Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are required Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Teams)
