Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Non-Exempt Job Summary:
The Vehicle Acquisition Representative I supports the vehicle acquisition team by assisting in sourcing, evaluating, and processing vehicle purchases. This role involves administrative tasks, research, and coordination to ensure the efficient acquisition of quality inventory.
Essential Functions:
Assist in identifying potential vehicle acquisition opportunities through online platforms, auctions, and trade-ins. Maintain accurate records of vehicles acquired, including pricing, condition, and vendor information in the inventory management system. Liaise with vendors, auction houses, and other dealerships to gather information about available vehicles and facilitate negotiations. Help with the preliminary assessment of vehicle conditions and histories to assist the acquisition team in making informed decisions. Prepare and organize documents related to vehicle purchases, including purchase agreements and title transfers. Assist in generating reports on vehicle inventory, acquisition costs, and market trends for the acquisition team. Ensure all acquisition processes adhere to company policies and legal regulations. Ensure all vehicle acquisitions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain satisfactory attendance. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Conduct test drives to assess mechanical performance.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of the automotive market and trends. Valid driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 30 days following date of hire. At least one year of verifiable driving experience. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in automotive sales, administration, or a related field. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and market trends. Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 15 pounds. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Environment/Noise:
Typical dealership or repair shop environment, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures. May occasionally visit service bays or workshops to discuss vehicle issues with technicians. Many odors may be present. Noise moderate.
