Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Members / Cashier to join our L&L Hawaiian BBQ in Elk Grove. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, have experience in fast food or restaurant service, and be comfortable handling cash transactions. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will engage with customers, take orders and contribute to the overall success of our store. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their orders. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. packing food orders correctly and efficiently for dine-in or take-out. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining area Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support. Maintain phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and retail math calculations. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines for front-of-house areas Experience Previous experience in a fast food or restaurant environment, especially with customer service, is preferred. Familiarity with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures is essential. Experience with supervising staff or leading a team is a plus.
