Job Description

Shift:

Join Chapa-De's Dental team as a Dental Call Center Representative , where you'll help patients access the dental care they need by answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, providing information, and connecting patients with the appropriate care team. You'll help create a positive patient experience while keeping communication accurate, efficient, and compassionate.

What You'll Do:

Answer high-volume incoming calls and assist patients in a courteous and helpful manner. Schedule dental appointments and help manage cancellations, no-shows, and available appointments. Verify Medi-Cal, private insurance, Sliding Scale, and PRC eligibility and communicate relevant information to patients. Accurately document calls in the EHR and work closely with front office and clinical teams to address patient needs.

Experience and Skills:
What You'll Bring:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 1 year of hands-on experience answering high-volume phone calls . Excellent communication, people, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively with patients and team members in stressful situations while maintaining professionalism. Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage multiple interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Dental experience and knowledge of dental terminology, Medi-Cal, and private insurance eligibility are preferred.
