Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients while managing inquiries related to animal care and veterinary services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal handling and veterinary terminology, ensuring that they can effectively communicate with both clients and veterinary staff. Duties Respond to client inquiries regarding veterinary services, pet care, and animal husbandry. Provide information on medical collections and assist clients with billing questions. Utilize knowledge of veterinary terminology to explain procedures and services to clients. Assist in the handling and restraint of animals during appointments as needed. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up on outstanding issues. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Educate clients on proper pet care, grooming, training, and health maintenance. Ensure a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets during visits. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or animal care setting. Knowledge of medical collection processes is a plus. Familiarity with animal anatomy, husbandry, and care techniques. Experience with dog handling, animal restraint, and aseptic techniques. Background in laboratory work or veterinary critical care is highly desirable. Understanding of equine care is an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent service. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
