Responsibilities Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product information. Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting and well-presented. Manage inventory levels through stock checks and communicate restocking needs to supervisors promptly. Practice excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries. Support team members by supervising or mentoring new staff when needed, fostering a collaborative environment. Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers bilingually is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, retail math, and basic math skills are essential for accuracy in transactions. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations will help you excel in this role. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professionalism and patience.
