In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to a positive shopping experience and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Engage in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Upsell products by effectively communicating their value to customers. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory as needed. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable for effective customer interaction. Ability to sell products through engaging conversations and product knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
