Senior Care Advocate (Temp, through the end of December 2026)
Location:
Lynwood, CA (On-site)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•4:30
PM Overview:
The Senior Care Advocate supports PACE participants by coordinating services, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a high-quality member experience. This role focuses on customer service, issue resolution, and retention while working closely with interdisciplinary teams and adhering to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for participant inquiries, service requests, and eligibility issues Handle complaints, grievances, and appeals through resolution Coordinate disenrollments and support retention efforts Document and process incident reports and maintain accurate records Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and agencies (e.g., Medi-Cal/Medicare) Assist with participant satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements Ensure timely and accurate documentation in EMR systems Participate in meetings and support audit/compliance activities
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's preferred) Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred) Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Social Security required; PACE experience a plus BLS certification required Experience working with elderly or frail populations preferred Bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, or other) strongly preferred
Skills:
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service skills Organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
