JOB DUTIES
Customer Intake & Consultation — Greet customers, listen actively, document concerns clearly, and set expectations for diagnostics and repair timelines. Repair Order Management — Create accurate ROs, verify warranty/extended warranty coverage, and ensure all customer concerns are captured. Technical Communication — Translate technician findings into clear, customer‑friendly explanations; present recommended services with transparency. Upsell & Maintenance Recommendations — Recommend maintenance based on mileage, condition, and manufacturer guidelines without pressure or overselling. Workflow Coordination — Communicate with technicians, parts department, and management to ensure efficient repair flow. Status Updates — Provide timely updates, follow up proactively, and prevent customer escalation through clear communication. Quality Control — Verify repairs, ensure proper documentation, and confirm customer satisfaction before vehicle delivery. CSI & Retention — Maintain high CSI scores through empathy, accuracy, and consistent follow‑through. Compliance & Documentation — Follow dealership, manufacturer, and warranty guidelines; maintain clean, complete records.
REQUIREMENTS
At least one year of dealership advisor experience Strong automotive and maintenance knowledge Clear, empathetic communication skills Proven CSI performance Ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment Familiarity with DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack) Pass the background check and drug test
